Fay has 20 years experience in social work and her expertise is in family violence. Fay is passionate about working with families and advocating for children and safer communities. Previously, Fay has managed an A&D centre in the Northern Territory (Australia), managed a crisis refuge for both youth and adults and has also managed community housing projects. Fay was a team leader for children and family programmes, and set up family violence centres and a refuge for men with children, and women with children escaping from family violence. Fay is the Social Worker for Te Uri o Hau Tangata Developments and will provide a professional, non-judgmental, confidential service using a holistic strengths based practice approach.
